California to cause Cancer.... reading this made me laugh and i cant wait for the labels to show up on soda and other items
Quote: | On Jan. 7, California's Office of Environmental Health Hazard Assessment added 4-methylimidazole (but not 2-methylimidazole) to the list of chemicals known to the state to cause "cancer, birth defects or other reproductive harm." |
the down low is 2-methylimidazole and 4-methylimidazole are what give sodas like Pepsi and Coke there color

its getting to the point of should we have a sign on our door stating that walking out side might cause cancer? i personally would like to know the dosage of these chemicals and at what rate they were given to the animals

The truth of the matter is very simple: life causes cancer.
It's just not really a disease the way most people think of diseases. It's a side effect of living with an imperfect organic body.
We just need to download to machines and be done with it.

We could all live deep underground - less radiation!

The human body is radioactive to a degree. So is alcohol. There are all kinds of things emitting radioactivity... It accumulates over time.

My personal pet peeve is the Sun. Living underground would be best IMO.

I can't remember, but when you go to the airport in California do they have signs that warn against flying?
A single flight across the country will cause about as much radiation accumulation as staying on the ground and living far away from civilization in a year.
Personally, I blame the Canadians. Can't blame Kazakhstan. They are the greatest country in the world.
